The Theme Of Your Spirit's Call
Our Spirit’s Song runs like a theme throughout our lives, persisting even when it goes unnoticed for years. Have you felt frustrated and confused because you don’t know what your Song is? Sometimes it’s like water to a fish. We listen and listen but cannot hear it. The more we pursue it, the harder it is to hear, especially when we fear it isn’t there. In Pigeon Paradise, the song is barely audible. It is drowned out by the comforts of everyday busyness and the distractions of life.
In my experience, I look back with amazement and almost amusement at how blind I was to the obvious. I wrote The Bluebirds’ Song in the 90s and spent the next ten years in confusion and frustration, trying to figure out what I was supposed to be doing. All the while, this story of transformation sat neatly tucked away in my journals.
Even after becoming a Life and Business Coach and discovering my passion for working with people in transition and change, I still felt there was more. While working with clients, I found some who clung to their confusion, even when their calling seemed evident to those around them. I have concluded that confusion is fear’s smokescreen, keeping us from embracing our authenticity. No one can convince you otherwise until you are ready to hear your Spirit’s Song.
Your Spirit's Call Is Turning Up The Volume
But I have begun to notice that as the vibration of consciousness rises on the planet, so does the volume of our Spirit’s Call. Once you find ways to calm your Pigeon Fears, your song will draw you toward it, inspiring you. The beauty of your music becomes more vital than the fear of the unknown as you become more familiar with your unique tune.
Coming Home
You then recognize it as the timeless song of your Soul, and you know it well. It is the sound of coming home, and once you hear the call, you are compelled to begin the journey of expressing your own Bluebird Song. It matters not how long it takes, how many detours and delays you encounter, nor how many Pigeon Fears hold you back; once heard, it can never be entirely silenced again, for you will always know it’s there.
