River of Time
Being friends with Time
From inside my mind
Helps my heart relax
And my neck to unwind
Time says to me
“It’s much easier now
Step into my boat
And I’ll show you how.”
So I took his old hand
Both ancient and new
And stretched out on a pillow
In the fresh morning dew
He told me to dream
And he’d do the rest.
So I trusted his wisdom
and dreamt only the Best
My life began flowing
With unshakable ease
As the Joy of each moment
Kissed my face in the breeze.
