This poem reflects how we are born with our Joy, or True Nature, intact. Through living in the material world, where our ego self is necessary for survival, we lose track of our true self and let fear guide us.

We are born with our Joy, or True Nature, intact.
We are born with our Joy, or True Nature, intact.

Love Beyond Fear

I saw, as a child

Through innocent eyes

A world filled with color

And astonished surprise

Experiencing pure freedom

Through focused young eyes

Came the truth of each moment

With no need for disguise

Then appeared Ego

Pushing judgment and lies

Devising a scheme

Full of death and demise

Stepping into the Dream

I forgot what was real

And traded my Peace

For Time’s endless appeal

But the Dream is now fading

As True Vision comes clear

And the World re-awakens

To Love Beyond Fear.
